Open / Create mindmap

A mindmap can be created within any Confluence page, provided you have permission to edit the page.

Mindmap by AmyMind can be inserted like any other macro, using the macro browser. Click the drop down menu in the toolbar with the plugin icon, then click on “Mindmap by AmyMind”.

If “Mindmap by AmyMind” is not directly in this menu, click on “Other macros” or “View more” and then enter “mindmap” in the search field at the top right of the dialog.

You can also use the curly bracket shortcut: “/mindmap” .

The macro is pre-populated with a default mindmap data as below:

If you want editing a mindmap, you need to publish this page.

  1. change nodes relationship

    1. add child node

    2. add sibling node

    3. move nodes

    4. delete nodes

  2. edit a node

    1. change node text

    2. mark the node

    3. note the node

  3. interaction

    1. fold/unfold node

    2. fit to window

    3. pan the mindmap

  4. others

    1. undo/redo

    2. change the mindmap canvas height: Click the PEN icon below the macro to enter the edit mode.

We don't have a way to export this macro.

Save a mindmap

When you finished editing, you can save the diagram by clicking the “Save” button. After saving a diagram, it can be edited at any time - click on the diagram, and then click on the PEN icon in the toolbar.
